The wax cup is a small metal insert that drops into the chamber of the XMax V3 Pro and V4 Pro in place of loose herbs. You put a small amount of concentrate in the cup, seat it in the chamber and refit the mouthpiece.
No concentrate insert comes with either vaporizer, so this is the part that opens up that use. The cup holds the material off the chamber walls, which means concentrates never run down into the vapour path and cleaning stays a matter of wiping out one small piece.
Concentrates are a secondary function on these vaporizers, and higher temperature settings suit them best. The cup lifts out again for herbs, so one vaporizer covers both materials.
