Who is the Tinymight 2 for?

The Tinymight 2 is a handcrafted Finnish vaporizer built around pure convection heating. It offers both on-demand and session modes. Take a quick draw whenever it suits you, or settle in for a longer session. This vape has earned a loyal following for its flavour. Several glass mouthpiece options let you match your preferred style of draw.

In our testing, a single battery charge covers roughly five to eight sessions at moderate temperatures. The battery is removable, so a spare can carry you through a full day. There is a little technique to learn, and preferred settings tend to fall into place within a few sessions.

Choose your Tinymight 2

The Tinymight 2 comes in six variants. All six share the same convection heater and the same temperature range: 140 °C to 230 °C in session mode, or up to 250 °C in on-demand mode. All six take the Tinymight accessory range.

Tinymight 2 Walnut

Walnut

The original variant is carved from American Walnut. This is the most affordable way in, and the heater is the same: the same 70 W convection power, the same temperature range.

  • Zirconia ceramic heater with stainless steel top lining (current production)
  • Glass ball mouthpiece
  • 55 mm glass mouthpiece with cooling unit
Tinymight 2 Purple Heart

Purple Heart

This 2024 variant is cut from Purple Heart, an exotic hardwood with a deep natural purple colour. It introduced the harder-wearing zirconia ceramic heater that current Walnut units now share. A titanium dosing capsule comes in the box.

  • Zirconia ceramic heater with stainless steel top lining
  • Glass ball mouthpiece
  • 55 mm glass mouthpiece with cooling unit
  • Titanium dosing capsule included
Tinymight 2 White Ash

White Ash

This 2026 variant is carved from White Ash, a pale, hard-wearing hardwood that is new to the Tinymight 2. The White Ash edition has on-demand boost and session auto-shutdown, and it uses a reworked cooling setup. Glass ball mouthpieces still fit (sold separately).

  • On-demand boost and session auto-shutdown
  • 80 mm stainless steel mouthpiece with redesigned one-piece cooling unit
  • Zippered protective case and titanium dosing capsule included
Tinymight 2 Black Walnut, Black Oak, Black Redwood

Black Walnut / Black Oak / Black Redwood

These are the newest variants. Choose Black Walnut (American Walnut with black anodised aluminium), Black Oak (solid oak dyed black with a specialised colouring process), or Black Redwood (solid redwood in a black finish). All three share the same internals and firmware. These editions add a zirconia ceramic mouthpiece and direct loading, so herbs go straight into the heater chamber instead of the mouthpiece.

  • On-demand boost, session auto-shutdown, and direct-loading funnel
  • 80 mm polished black zirconia mouthpiece with Cooling Unit V2
  • Double-mesh heater screen and improved internal sealing
  • Ships in a travel case

Design and build

The Tinymight 2 body measures 6.1 × 3.7 × 8.8 cm and weighs 186 g. It sits comfortably in a jacket pocket, and it will go in a jeans pocket, though you will feel it there.

Each vape is handmade from solid wood in Finland. The end caps are stainless steel and aluminium, and every unit carries an engraved serial number. A stir tool lives inside the body. Use it to stir the herbs and to adjust the chamber size. The LED shines through the stir tool slot, so one glance tells you the battery level and the heating stage.

Pure convection heating

The Tinymight 2 uses a 70 W pure convection heater. Hot air flows through the herbs as you draw, so there is very little cooking between inhalations. This approach helps preserve flavour and conserve material.

The heater reaches operating temperature in roughly 2 to 5 seconds, a little longer at high dial settings or on a low battery. On-demand mode runs the heater while you hold the button, and it stops when you release it. Session mode (triple-click, then hold on the third click) keeps the heater running, so you can draw without pressing anything. On-demand mode uses less battery. Session mode suits longer, relaxed use.

Vapour path and cooling

The flavour profile depends on which mouthpiece you use. Glass ball mouthpieces (included with the Walnut and Purple Heart) create an vapour path that is glass from the heater screen to your lips from heater to mouth. Glass is inert at vaporizing temperatures, so it adds nothing to the taste. Inside the mouthpiece, the glass balls stir the vapour into turbulence, and that cools it on the way out.

The 55 mm glass mouthpiece (also included with the Walnut and Purple Heart) pairs with a stainless steel cooling unit that sits inside the mouthpiece. This combination is more compact, though the vapour then passes over stainless steel as well as glass. The standard cooling unit works well. Give it a soak every few sessions to keep the airflow open and the flavour clean.

The White Ash takes a different approach: an 80 mm stainless steel mouthpiece paired with a redesigned one-piece cooling unit. Stainless steel sheds heat between draws, which helps keep the vapour cooler over a long session. The new cooling unit is machined from a single piece. Fewer crevices for residue means it stays cleaner for longer.

The Black editions use an 80 mm polished black zirconia mouthpiece paired with the Cooling Unit V2. Zirconia is an inert ceramic that stays cooler to the touch than metal and delivers clean flavour with no metallic character. The Cooling Unit V2 is a single piece of stainless steel, shaped to swirl the vapour so more heat passes into the metal. A fine-mesh basket at the bottom helps stop material carrying through. A single O-ring seals the fit.

You can also add cooling mouthpieces, sold separately. Ball mouthpieces come in 100 mm and 120 mm lengths for more cooling in a fully glass path. The extra-long 3D mouthpiece is a popular choice. The bubbler adds water filtration without a full water pipe setup. Mouthpiece caps protect your glass mouthpieces and keep herbs from spilling during transport. All accessories are 25% off when you buy a vaporizer here at MagicVaporizers.

Temperature control

A numbered dial on the bottom sets the temperature, from position 0 to position 10. You adjust it with your thumb or a coin edge. There is no digital display and no companion app.

Position 0 locks the vaporizer so it will not turn on. The remaining ten positions span 140 °C to 250 °C by default. Position 1 sits at about 140 °C, position 5 at about 180 °C, and position 7 at about 200 °C. Position 10 reaches 230 °C in session mode, or 250 °C in on-demand mode. A hidden calibration setting shifts the whole range lower or higher if you prefer. Lower settings preserve lighter terpenes and flavour compounds, while higher settings extract more material in fewer draws.

A colour-coded LED shines through the stir tool slot to show battery level and heating status. The vape vibrates when it reaches temperature. A stealth mode disables all indicators and vibrations for discreet use.

Chamber and loading

On the Tinymight 2, you load herbs directly into the glass mouthpiece. A stainless steel basket screen at one end of the mouthpiece holds the herbs in place. Use the stir tool to slide the cooling unit along the mouthpiece and change the chamber size. At its largest the chamber holds about 0.25 g, at its smallest as little as 0.05 g, so it is adjustable for micro-doses and full loads.

To load, take the mouthpiece off the vaporizer and pack herbs loosely into the chamber end - the one with the basket screen. Convection needs air moving freely through the material, so a loose, even pack with a medium grind works best. Then hold the vaporizer upside down and slide the loaded mouthpiece back in, so the herbs stay in the mouthpiece instead of falling into the body.

The Black editions add a second loading method. A stainless steel funnel collar sits around the top of the chamber: lift out the mouthpiece and drop herbs straight into the body. There is no packing the mouthpiece end and no turning the vaporizer upside down. This is quicker for short sessions and helps keep herb particles out of the airflow holes around the chamber. The standard collar is also in the box, so you can swap it in and load through the mouthpiece the traditional way.

A dosing capsule drops into the chamber end of the mouthpiece for quick swaps between sessions, and it keeps the glass cleaner. Loading without a capsule gives the most open airflow. Each method has its place.

One dosing capsule is included for free when you purchase your Tinymight 2 from MagicVaporizers.

If you like the capsule method, the stainless steel Dosing Capsules (5-pack) come with a portable holder tube. For a lighter, more durable option, Titanium Dosing Capsules (5-pack) are also available. Both are sold separately.

How to use the Tinymight 2

Three quick clicks of the side button turn the Tinymight 2 on and off. In on-demand mode, the heater runs while you hold the button. Here is how a typical session works:

  1. Loading: Remove the glass mouthpiece from the vaporizer. Grind your herbs to a medium consistency and pack them loosely into the chamber end of the mouthpiece (the end with the basket screen). Hold the vaporizer upside down and insert the loaded mouthpiece.
  2. Temperature: Set the dial on the bottom to your preferred position. Positions 5 to 7 work well as a starting point for flavour.
  3. Power on: Click the side button three times.
  4. Heating and drawing: Hold the button. The vape vibrates when it reaches temperature. Wait a moment after the vibration so the heat builds fully. Then draw slowly and steadily for 5 to 7 seconds. Release the button near the end of your draw to clear the mouthpiece with fresh air.
  5. Stirring and stepping up: Between draws, use the built-in stir tool to expose fresh surface area. As the session goes on, move the dial up a position or two for fuller extraction.
  6. Power off: Click the side button three times.

For session mode, triple-click and hold on the third click. The heater stays active so you can take draws without holding the button. Older Walnut and Purple Heart units do not shut off automatically in session mode, so check yours and switch it off yourself if needed. The White Ash and Black editions shut off automatically.

White Ash and Black edition users can also activate on-demand boost: after the first vibration, release the button and press again. A double vibration confirms the boosted temperature. The extra heat helps you extract the last of the herbs. At higher temperatures (positions 8 and above), running the Tinymight 2 through a water pipe gives you cooler, smoother draws.

Removable battery and charging

Every Tinymight 2 ships with a 3000 mAh 18650 battery, up from 2800 mAh on the previous model. It is removable. Unscrew the end cap by hand, drop the cell in with the positive terminal facing the lid, and screw the cap back on. A colour-coded LED and startup vibrations indicate charge level.

In our testing, a full charge lasts roughly five to eight sessions at moderate temperatures. On-demand mode uses less power than session mode. Higher temperatures and longer draws bring that number down. Carry a spare 18650 and the Tinymight 2 can run all day.

The vape charges over USB-C, and a braided cable comes in the box. There is no wall adapter. It does not support pass-through charging, so you cannot vape while it is plugged in.

We recommend picking up a spare battery and charger with your Tinymight 2 so you are ready from day one. The Ampace JP30 - 3000 mAh 18650 Battery is a reliable spare and matches the Tinymight 2's power needs. The Eve 30P - 3000 mAh 18650 Battery is a solid alternative. The Xtar X2 - Battery Charger fills two batteries at once, so a fresh one is ready when you need it. The USB-C Fast Charger (45W) plugs into the included cable and supplies the full 2 A the Tinymight 2 can take, reaching about 90% from empty in roughly 1.5 hours.

Cleaning and maintenance

Glass mouthpieces are the easiest parts to clean. Soak them in isopropyl alcohol, rinse, and let them dry. A weekly clean helps keep the flavour fresh.

Give the cooling unit a soak in isopropyl alcohol every few sessions (remove the O-rings first, as they must not go in solvent) to keep the airflow open. The standard cooling unit (Walnut and Purple Heart) has small parts that can collect residue. The White Ash and Black editions use one-piece cooling units. Fewer crevices means they stay cleaner for longer.

Basket screens and flat cooling unit screens are consumables. Replace them when airflow feels restricted or a screen looks deformed. Spare screens and O-rings come in the box. The Maintenance Kit (sold separately) bundles a full set of replacement parts.

Tinymight 2 vs Frolic

The Frolic is a powerful on-demand portable with hybrid heating, a larger 21700 battery, an OLED display, and adjustable airflow up to 25 L/min. It delivers a wide-open draw with precise digital control.

The Tinymight 2 keeps its vapour path to quartz glass, stainless steel and zirconia ceramic from heater to mouth, and it is glass from the heater screen onwards when you use a ball mouthpiece. The handmade wood body is smaller and lighter. The warranty runs 3 years, a year longer than the Frolic's.

If you value an all-glass path, artisan build quality and a longer warranty, the Tinymight 2 has the edge. Choose the Frolic for digital precision and higher airflow capacity.

Tinymight 2 vs Mighty+

The Mighty+ from Storz & Bickel is one of the most popular portable vaporizers in Europe. It uses hybrid heating, and it adds a digital display, a well-known dosing capsule system, and an internal battery that charges over USB-C. Most people can use it comfortably straight out of the box.

The Tinymight 2 offers pure convection with on-demand heating, ready in seconds. The Mighty+ takes roughly a minute. The maximum temperature is 250 °C against the Mighty+'s 210 °C. The Tinymight 2 body is also more compact, and the removable 18650 battery can be swapped instead of recharged.

The Mighty+ is the easier vape to pick up and use. The Tinymight 2 asks for more technique but delivers faster sessions, a higher temperature maximum, and a battery you can replace in seconds.

Tinymight 2 vs Venty

The Venty is Storz & Bickel's flagship portable. It combines hybrid heating with adjustable airflow, a Bluetooth app for firmware updates, a digital display, and fast USB-C charging. It is one of the easiest high-end portables to use.

The Tinymight 2 offers what the Venty lacks: on-demand mode and swappable batteries. Take a single quick draw without starting a full session. Drop in a fresh battery instead of plugging in. The higher maximum temperature (250 °C versus 210 °C) gives you more range for different herbs and preferences.

The Venty suits users who want a polished digital interface and effortless draws. The Tinymight 2 gives you on-demand flexibility, all-day running on spare batteries, and a higher temperature range - all in a smaller, handcrafted package.

Tinymight 2 vs Solo 3

The Arizer Solo 3 is a hybrid portable with an all-glass mouthpiece system, a digital display, and a sealed battery that lasts up to three hours per charge. It runs both session and on-demand modes, and heats up in 5 to 15 seconds.

The Tinymight 2 heats up much faster, reaching temperature in 2 to 5 seconds against the Solo 3's 5 to 15 seconds. Pure convection means very little cooking between draws. The removable 18650 battery swaps out in seconds, so the session need not stop.

The Solo 3 is the stronger choice for long sessions where single-charge endurance matters most. The Tinymight 2 is built for quick on-demand draws on the move. A fast heat-up and a spare battery or two cover a full day.

Available accessories

All accessories are 25% off when you buy any vaporizer here at MagicVaporizers, so there is plenty worth adding. The Tinymight 2 has one of the widest accessory ranges of any portable vaporizer, so there is plenty to explore.

Titanium Dosing Capsules (5-pack): Five titanium V2 capsules with a holder tube. They are noticeably lighter than steel, which makes them a worthwhile step up if you use capsules often.

Dosing Capsules (5-pack): Five stainless steel V2 capsules with a holder tube for carrying pre-loaded sessions in your pocket.

Maintenance Kit: A full set of replacement screens, O-rings, and cleaning tools to keep you covered for regular maintenance.

Screens (5-pack): Flat replacement screens for the cooling unit. A new screen opens up airflow straight away.

Basket Screens (5-pack): Replacement stainless steel basket screens for the herb chamber. Swap in a fresh one when airflow starts to feel restricted.

Glass Mouthpiece (55 mm): The most compact glass option, ideal as a spare for the Walnut or Purple Heart edition.

Glass Mouthpiece (80 mm): A longer quartz glass mouthpiece that gives vapour more distance to cool before it reaches your lips.

Short Glass Mouthpiece with Balls (100 mm): 13 to 15 glass cooling balls inside an all-glass mouthpiece. Noticeably cooler vapour, in a compact size.

Long Glass Mouthpiece with Balls (120 mm): The longest ball mouthpiece available, with 18 to 20 cooling balls for maximum glass cooling.

Extra-Long 3D Mouthpiece with Balls: The glass balls create turbulence, and that turbulence cools the vapour on its way through. It is one of the most popular aftermarket mouthpieces.

Extra-Long 3D Mouthpiece: The same glass design without the balls. Length alone does the cooling, and the mouthpiece comes out lighter and simpler.

Titanium Mouthpiece (80 mm): A sturdy alternative that stands up to everyday carry better than glass. Flavour may differ slightly from glass.

Zirconia Mouthpiece (80 mm): The polished black zirconia mouthpiece from the Black editions, available as a standalone upgrade. Inert ceramic that stays cooler than metal, wipes clean easily, and gives pure flavour with no metallic edge.

Bubbler: A portable glass attachment that adds water filtration without a full water pipe setup.

Cooling Unit: A replacement stainless steel cooling unit for use with the 55 mm and 80 mm glass mouthpieces. Keep a second on hand and you can soak one while you use the other.

Cooling Unit (V2): The redesigned single-piece stainless steel cooling unit from the Black editions. Turbulent flow design with a fine-mesh basket that helps prevent material carry-through. An upgrade for any Tinymight 2 fitted with a zirconia, stainless steel or titanium stem (not compatible with the standard 55 mm and 80 mm glass stems).

14 mm Glass Adapter: Connects the Tinymight 2 to water pipes with a 14 mm joint. It has its own glass screen, so you do not need a cooling unit.

18 mm Glass Adapter: The same idea for water pipes with an 18 mm joint. This one pairs with the standard cooling unit.

Mouthpiece Caps: Caps for the open ends of your glass mouthpieces. They stop herbs falling out and protect the glass in transit.

Flexible Funnel: A loading funnel that fits snugly around the mouthpiece opening to cut down on spills while you pack.
