Who is the Plenty Vaporizer for?
The Plenty Vaporizer is for home users who want Storz & Bickel vapour quality at the most affordable price in the range. It suits relaxed sessions on the couch, group evenings where a vape gets passed around, and anyone who likes the idea of plug-in power with no battery to charge or replace.
The large chamber and very smooth draw make it easy to share, since no special technique is needed. Even in 2026, the Plenty stays one of the most underappreciated desktop vaporizers around, prized for its German build and remarkably cool vapour.
The Plenty runs on mains power, so it stays in one place near a wall socket and works best as a dedicated home station. It also takes around three to four minutes to warm up, which rewards a slower, settled session — perfect for sitting back and enjoying the full flavour.
Design and Build
The Plenty has a one-of-a-kind pistol-grip shape that looks more like a power tool than a vaporizer. The body is made from PEEK plastic, the same hard-wearing material used in the Mighty, finished in black and orange and built for years of home use.
At 15.5 × 22.5 × 5.5 cm and around 0.7 kg, it sits comfortably on a desk or side table. The curved base means it rests on its side, and the included cleaning brush slots into the base to prop it upright when you want it standing.
Hybrid Heating
The Plenty uses hybrid heating, which combines convection and conduction. Hot air flows through your herbs while heated metal parts warm them directly, so the whole load extracts evenly.
This pairing gives you full extraction even at lower temperatures, despite the top setting sitting at 202°C. The large heat exchanger does most of the work, and the heated chamber parts fill in the rest.
The Cooling Coil
The Plenty's defining feature is its stainless steel cooling coil. Vapour travels through a ridged metal helix that pulls heat away before it reaches the mouthpiece, so each draw arrives remarkably cool and smooth.
The coil also opens up the airflow, leaving almost no draw resistance. You do not need any special technique, and slow or steady draws both work well. The all-metal path keeps the flavour clean.
After a long session the coil gets hot to the touch, so give it a few minutes to cool before you handle it.
Temperature Control
Temperature is set with an analog dial on the side, marked with seven heat settings. There is no screen and no app, just a simple turn of the dial to choose your heat.
Lower settings (around 130°C) preserve lighter compounds and terpenes. Higher settings (up to 202°C) extract more material in fewer draws. Many users sit around settings 6 to 7 for fuller, warmer sessions, or 4 to 6 for cooler, smoother flavour.
The Dead Man's Switch
The orange squeeze-handle on the back is the Plenty's safety feature, often called a dead man's switch. The heater runs only while you squeeze, and the moment you let go it begins to cool down.
This stops your herbs from baking between draws, which keeps the flavour fresher across a long session. It also means the Plenty cannot stay hot if you walk away and forget about it. Just squeeze the handle again to bring it back up to temperature for the next draw.
Chamber and Loading
The filling chamber is the largest of any Storz & Bickel vaporizer, with a 3.4 cm³ capacity that holds up to around 1 g of ground herbs. That generous size is what makes the Plenty so well suited to group sessions.
The chamber works best when packed at least three-quarters full, so it favours larger loads over tiny ones. For smaller, precise amounts, you can add the Dosing Capsule Adapter (sold separately), which reduces the chamber to fit standard S&B dosing capsules.
You can build out a capsule setup with a magazine that holds eight pre-filled capsules, a filling kit that loads up to 40 at once, and extra dosing capsules to expand your rotation. Each capsule holds about 0.15 g, and all of them need the adapter to work in the Plenty. We offer a 25% discount on accessories with any vaporizer here at MagicVaporizers.
How to Use the Plenty
Operating the Plenty is straightforward once everything is assembled. Here is the basic routine:
- Loading: Grind your herbs and fill the chamber, packing it firm and at least three-quarters full for even heating.
- Assembling: Screw the cooling coil and chamber back onto the body.
- Heating: Plug in, set the dial, switch on, and squeeze the handle. Wait around three to four minutes to reach temperature.
- Inhaling: Draw slowly from the mouthpiece while keeping the handle squeezed.
- Pausing: Release the handle between draws, then squeeze again to reheat for the next one.
Plug-In Reliability
The Plenty has no battery and no electronics to wear out. It plugs straight into a wall socket and delivers full power every session, so performance stays the same year after year. A bimetallic regulator handles safe operation and automatic switch-off.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning the Plenty is simple if you keep on top of it. Once it has fully cooled, take off the cooling coil and chamber parts.
Soak the metal parts in isopropyl alcohol for 20 to 30 minutes, rinse them with warm water, and let them dry fully. Brush the screens and reassemble. The silicone tubing yellows and stiffens with use over time, making it the part that wears fastest.
When parts start to show their age, the Wear & Tear Set renews the whole vapour path with fresh tubing, a new cooling coil, mouthpieces, and screens. Replacement screens are also sold on their own.
Plenty vs Venty
The Venty is Storz & Bickel's flagship portable. It heats in 20 seconds, runs on a battery, and slips into a pocket for on-the-go sessions.
A much larger chamber and zero draw resistance set the Plenty apart. It plugs into the wall for unlimited power, holds up to around 1 g, and delivers cool vapour through a stainless steel cooling coil with virtually no effort to draw.
If you mostly vape at home and want bigger, shared sessions without ever charging a battery, the Plenty gives you more for less. The Venty makes more sense when portability and fast heat-up are priorities.
Plenty vs Volcano Hybrid
The Volcano Hybrid is the desktop icon, filling balloons and offering a whip with precise digital control.
Around half the price is the Plenty's headline advantage. You draw directly through the cooling coil for immediate vapour, and the controls stay simple with a single analog dial.
The Volcano suits anyone who wants balloon filling and digital precision. The Plenty is the pick if you want S&B vapour quality through direct draws at a friendlier price.
