The Crafty+ is the compact portable vaporizer from Storz & Bickel, the German makers of the Volcano. It delivers the same vapour quality as the larger Mighty+ from a body that disappears into a pocket. Even in 2026 it is still consistently rated among the best portable vaporizers available.

The single button makes it a natural first vape, and it is forgiving about grind, fill level, and draw technique. The battery covers 4 to 6 sessions per charge, which suits people who charge overnight more than heavy all-day users. With the parts covered, a full session looks like this:

1. Loading: Grind your herbs to a medium consistency and fill the chamber, or drop in a pre-filled dosing capsule. The tool in the base tamps everything level.
2. Heating: Press the button once. The LED glows red, and after about a minute it turns green and the vape vibrates.
3. Inhaling: Take slow draws of 5 to 8 seconds through the swivel mouthpiece. A brief flick back to red during the first draws is normal while the chamber settles.
4. Boosting: When the flavour starts to fade, double click for the Booster at 195°C. Double click again for the Superbooster at 210°C to finish the load.
5. Finishing: Hold the button for about a second to switch off; an automatic shut-off also steps in if you forget. Empty the chamber while it is still warm, using the scraper end of the base tool.

Inside sits a sealed 3,300 mAh lithium-ion battery, good for 4 to 6 sessions per charge or roughly 45 to 60 minutes of running time. The battery is built in and not replaceable. Charging once a day covers most usage patterns, much like a phone.

Charging happens through the USB-C port in the base, so the Crafty+ charges from any phone cable or power bank. The box includes a USB-A to USB-C cable but no wall adapter. The vape runs while plugged in, though the battery does not charge during use.

You can add a fast charger to reach about 80% in roughly 40 minutes; a standard charger takes 60 to 90 minutes. The fast charger has a USB-C output, so it needs a USB-C to USB-C cable, which is not included with the vape or the charger.

Day-to-day care is quick: brush out the chamber after sessions, and the ceramic coating does the rest. If you use dosing capsules, the chamber barely needs cleaning at all.

The cooling unit needs a deeper clean every few weeks. It slides apart via a small lock, and the plastic parts soak clean in isopropyl alcohol. The silicone rings should be washed in warm soapy water and kept out of the alcohol.

The gaps between the body fins collect a little herb dust over time, so give them an occasional pass with the brush.
