These shell grips are press-fit silicone rings that sit on the narrow top of a Go Shell. Directly after a session the glass is hot, and the grip lets you lift the shell out of the chamber without touching it.
Flipped over, a grip doubles as a tamping tool, giving the load the right density with a small air gap on top. With a grip kept on each pre-loaded shell, hot swaps become a simple pull-and-drop move; the single grip from the box is also easy to misplace.
